Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz (born January 10, 1993) is professionally known as Rauw Alejandro, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. The name is often referred to as the "King of Contemporary Reggaeton",[2][3He is part of "the new generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. His debut album, Afrodisiaco (studio album), was released in the month of November in 2020. Vice Versa was his second studio album. The album's first single, "Todo de Ti", was released in June 2021. Two Latin Grammy Awards have been awarded to him out of 12 nominations. His father guitar player Raul OcasioRuiz, and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz (backing vocalist) introduced him to numerous of his musical influences, including Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and Chris Brown.
