Angela Sun
Angela Sun, an American journalist, television sportscaster in addition to documentary film maker. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. Her education includes Sociology and Communication at the University of California. Sun was a great surfer, and was a participant in a variety of pro-am contests. It led to her get sponsored by major brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans, among others. Her recognition through these events was like a rocket that fueled her entry into the entertainment industry. Later on, she went into the field of film director, investigative reporter and sportscaster. Sun is a former anchor, who worked for many different news channels. Since 2003, she has became a Fox Sports Net reporter. In 2012 she hosted American Ninja Warrior with Matt Iseman & Jonny Moseley. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in the year 2014. Sun was the very first Asian American to appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has appeared in a variety of films, and earned not only praise but also fame for her acting talent. Sun was in films like Goliath (2016) as well as Hit the Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009), Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008), and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). In 2014, Sun came out with Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch the feature-length documentary about trash in the oceans and how it affects the ecosystem. Sun wrote, directed and produced herself.
