Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was a member of One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where, with three other students, he created his group musical, White Eskimo. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. He always showed an interest in music. However, he was enthused to be an attorney or a physical therapy. When he worked in the city's bakery Harry Styles managed to feed his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. That's why his group was split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd be forming an ensemble called One Direction after the X Test audition. The formation of the group took place in the year 2010, and the five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. They performed tracks such as My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the potential winners to win the award. However they were 3rd place, in the third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell was a millionaire in a contract for One Direction.
