Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. She was the first American female gymnast ever to win four gold medals during one Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to have won successive World All-Around championships. Biles was born in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman, when she was six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles received a silver medal for vault and also a medal in floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began competing in elite levels of the sport. Two years after that Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. The thing that set Biles apart was her consistency her exuberant personality and the high degree of challenge she integrated into her workout routines for the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercises.
